Position Summary
The first point of contact for WIC clients. Greet patients, obtain insurance and financial documents, schedule appointments, and perform a variety of other clerical, reception, and administrative tasks.

Skills & Abilities
Education
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience
At least one year of experience in a general office environment or call center.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, Electronic Medical Records software, and spreadsheet design software.
Certifications & Licenses
Current Class C Driver’s License required.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
Potentially exposed to infectious diseases through contact with patients in the medical setting. May be subject to visits in less-than-desirable environments and deal with some clients who may be hostile. Potential need to travel in adverse weather conditions.
