GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and implements the Nutrition Services and Education component of the Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). This role provides nutrition education and counseling to participants of the program.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree (BS) in food and nutrition. Must meet all of the qualifications of a qualified nutritionist as outlined by the State of New York. Must have a valid NYS driver’s license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master’s Degree in nutrition. Registered dietician and certified lactation counselor (CLC).
