🔍 Job Summary

As a Wi-Fi Lab Engineer, you’ll play a key role in maintaining test environments, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the development of next-gen Wi-Fi products. You’ll work closely with engineers and vendors to ensure seamless lab operations and high-quality testing.

💡 Core Responsibilities

✔ Lab Support & Maintenance – Resolve issues, manage upgrades, and ensure stable testbeds.
✔ Testbed Setup & Configuration – Prepare hardware (OS installs, Wi-Fi module swaps, dual-boot setups).
✔ Device Management – Install, upgrade, and debug Wi-Fi devices (routers, gateways, IoT devices).
✔ Network Maintenance – Handle Ethernet, DOCSIS, VLANs, and RF components (splitters, attenuators).
✔ Inventory & Logistics – Track equipment, assist with purchasing, and manage shipping.
✔ Documentation & Reporting – Maintain lab logs, update internal docs, and communicate findings.

🎯 Required Skills & Experience

✔ BS in Electrical/Network Engineering or related field.
✔ 3–4 years in networking/wireless technologies.
✔ Strong grasp of:

• 802.11 Wi-Fi standards

• IP, DHCP, VLAN, IoT (Zigbee, Bluetooth, Thread)

• RF concepts (antennas, amplifiers, connectors)
  ✔ Hands-on with:

• Packet capture (Wireshark, Omnipeek)

• Log extraction (Android/iOS debugging)
  ✔ Troubleshooting & root-cause analysis skills.
  ✔ Ability to work flexible hours (nights/weekends if needed).

🌟 Preferred Skills

✔ Experience with Spirent, Candela, or Crecre testbeds.
