Winding Covering 1st and 2nd Shift

 The Winder Operator plays a crucial role in the textile manufacturing process, responsible for setting up, operating, and tending machines that wind or twist various fibers, including wool, hemp, and synthetic materials. This position requires a keen attention to detail, proficiency in operating slubber machines and drawing frames, and the ability to monitor machinery performance to ensure high-quality output. Ideal candidates will possess experience in a manufacturing environment, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.  

• Set up and adjust winding and twisting machines to meet production specifications.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality and consistency in accordance with industry standards.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and improve processes.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures in the manufacturing environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in textile technology is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Winder Operator or in a similar textile manufacturing role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Basic understanding of safety practices and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
