Job Description - Wire Cutter

Paragon Staffing, LLC is a company that specializes in connecting job seekers with employers who are seeking temporary, contract, or permanent positions.

Due to the growth, Paragon Staffing, LLC is looking for qualified wire press operators to join our team! We take the stress and trouble away from finding each individual the right employment opportunity!

Responsibilities/Duties

Tasks involve operating wire cutting machines, managing wire inventory, and inspecting products for conformance to product specifications.
Responsible for loading workpieces, adjusting machine speeds or actions, and ensuring that production schedules and quality are met.
Set up and operate wire machines to keep wires at a productive operating level.
Test and adjust machine speeds or actions according to product specifications, and monitor production schedules and quality to ensure the products meet customer specifications.
Maintain and run wire cutting machine that crimp and solder leads to the wire.
Assure that proper dye are tightened for accuracy.
Operate paper cutting machine, and stack finished product on pallets.

Requirements

Previous experience working in a wire manufacturing environment (Preferred)
High school diploma or GED/equivalent
Ability to read and follow work instructions
Must be flexible with work tasks
Sharp eye for detail
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Moves materials weighing up to 50 pounds

Schedule:
Monday Though Friday
8:00AM to 5:00PM

Compensation:
$19/hr. to $22/hr.

Edison, NJ
