We are seeking a Wireless Solutions Architect to join a senior-level team supporting an end client in Houston, Texas. This is a 6-month onsite contract position for a highly experienced wireless professional who can design, implement, and optimize advanced wireless communication systems.
In this role, you’ll help develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance connectivity solutions while supporting technologies such as private 5G, CBRS, DAS, RAN, Wi-Fi, and IoT. You’ll combine strong technical expertise with strategic planning to help ensure wireless systems are secure, future-ready, and aligned with business growth.
Design & Implement: Develop comprehensive wireless architecture strategies covering private 5G, CBRS, DAS, RAN Engineering, Wi-Fi, and IoT networks.
Analyze Requirements: Assess client and organizational needs and translate them into customized wireless network infrastructure solutions.
Evaluate Technology: Assess emerging wireless technologies and recommend approaches for integrating them into existing environments.
Collaborate: Partner with network engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to align wireless solutions with technical and business objectives.
Security & Compliance: Oversee wireless network security protocols and ensure compliance with applicable telecommunications standards.
Optimize Performance: Develop and implement roadmaps for wireless infrastructure projects, including RF planning, spectrum management, topology design, enterprise networking, automation, and multi-vendor wireless solutions.
Document Solutions: Create technical documentation, system integration plans, and performance optimization strategies.
5–7 years of experience in IT, with strong wireless networking experience.
Ability and willingness to work onsite in Houston, TX, full-time.
Deep knowledge of wireless communication protocols, including LTE, NR, and IEEE 802.11.
Experience with network design tools.
Strong experience in RF planning, spectrum management, and network topology.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills.
Ability to lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams across engineering, sales, and operations.
Experience working with multiple wireless technologies and vendors.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
