Location:

The individual in this role will be based out of our Buhler Office located at: 111 Old Mill Lane Buhler, Kansas (picking up equipment).  It will focus on Towers located near and around Reno and surrounding counties. 

Opportunity:

Our team is seeking an Wireless Tower Technician to support business operations in surrounding communities.  If you're hardworking and have a passion for problem solving and delivering a high level of customer service, this opportunity may be for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-install inspections, installations, testing, and maintenance on wireless towers. This includes climbing towers to access, install, and repair equipment for new and existing wireless tower builds.
• Provide an exceptional in-home/business customer experience during installations and service calls. Be able to effectively communicate technical information.
• Support all aspects of delivering wireless internet to customer premises, including new installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, OSHA, and industry standards, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and the team.
• Work effectively with a team and independently, demonstrating a high sense of urgency and follow-through.
• Develop your working knowledge of fiber and wireless network infrastructure.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Must possess and maintain a Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain tower climbing certification within the first month of employment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure network reliability.
• Ability to travel within Kansas for overnight stays approximately once a month.
• Experience or ability to learn to work on underground and aerial plants, including climbing ladders and operating bucket trucks.
• Physical ability to climb towers up to 500 feet.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs of equipment.
• Commitment to following all company safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Preferences:

• Prior experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Previous tower climbing and rigging experience.
