Job Description - Wireline Product & Service Delivery Manager (PSDM)

Our Company is seeking to recruit a Wireline Product \u0026 Service Delivery Manager to be based in San Fernando, Trinidad. This is a critical operational leadership role intended for an individual with deep technical mastery, extensive field exposure, and proven authority over complex, high\u2011risk wireline operations. The ideal candidate should be an established wireline leader capable of independently approving work, managing operational risk, and leading large, technically diverse teams in deepwater, offshore, and land environments.\n\nMission\n\nThe Wireline PSD Manager has direct accountability for QHSE performance, service quality, operational execution, and workforce readiness. The role requires visible field leadership, strong technical authority, and consistent, risk\u2011based decision\u2011making under safety\u2011critical and commercially sensitive conditions.\n\nThe PSD Manager drives safe, reliable, and efficient service delivery; competency development and certification governance; systematic application of standard work and risk management; continuous improvement in operational and service quality performance; and customer satisfaction and contract value realization.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Mobilize offshore and directly participate in wireline operations when operational needs require.\n * Design, review, challenge, and approve complex wireline job programs, including deepwater, high\u2011risk, and non\u2011routine operations.\n * Perform, consolidate, and critically assess JRAs.\n * Approve Job Risk Assessments based on job risk level and Conformance Assessment score.\n * Approve PRAs based on PRA index, phase, and operational exposure.\n * Lead and conduct pre\u2011job and post\u2011job briefs for every job, ensuring risks and controls are clearly understood.\n * Own the full incident lifecycle including escalation, response, investigation leadership, validation of findings, and close\u2011out.\n * Exercise stop\u2011work authority when required and enforce QHSE standards and risk controls.\n * Oversee equipment verification, certification, inspection, and maintenance readiness.\n * Drive demand planning for equipment, critical spares, and tool configurations.\n * Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce cycle time, and increase productivity.\n * Provide visible field leadership, technical coaching, and performance feedback.\n * Govern competency progression, certification, and readiness of field personnel.\n * Execute Employee Management Plans and performance evaluations.\n * Act as contract owner for wireline service delivery and contract value assurance.\n * Manage client interfaces and ensure service quality acceptance.\n * Approve final job deliverables and invoice\u2011supporting documentation.\n\n\n\nMandatory Qualifications and Experience\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Engineering in one of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering or Electrical \u0026 Computer Engineering (strongly preferred due to the electrical, powered\u2011system, and instrumentation\u2011intensive nature of wireline operations).\n\n\n * Minimum 12 years oil and gas industry experience.\n * Minimum 10 years of direct wireline field experience in offshore and/or land operations, gained prior to or alongside leadership roles.\n * Minimum 3 years in a senior operations leadership role with direct accountability for QHSE, job approval, and service delivery outcomes.\n * Advanced Technical Competency Requirements (Mandatory)\n * Applicants must demonstrate advanced or expert\u2011level wireline competency.\n * Proven authority to approve job programs, JRAs, PRAs, MOCs, and competency exemptions\n * Experience managing a formal wireline competency assurance system\n\n\n\nDeepwater Operations\n\n * Mandatory deepwater wireline experience including planning, execution, and incident response.\n * Experience delivering operations from a regional deepwater execution hub supporting multi\u2011country deployment.\n * Ability to manage simultaneous offshore and land operations a/ Open Hole Logging\n * High operational knowledge of advanced petrophysical evaluation, borehole imaging, formation pressure, sampling, and testing workflows.\n * Independent authority to approve complex open hole logging programs under challenging well conditions as well as Cased Hole and Powered Intervention\n * Advanced competency in cased hole and powered wireline intervention, including production and integrity interventions, tractored and extended\u2011reach operations, and complex powered toolstrings.\n * High\u2011Tension and Capstan Operations\n * Mandatory experience with high\u2011tension and Capstan\u2011type wireline operations or equivalent complex conveyance environments.\n * Ability to assess tension limits, mechanical risk, and contingency scenarios.\n * Explosives and Perforating\n * Expert\u2011level experience with explosives and perforating operations, including handling, storage, loading, deployment, and regulatory compliance.\n * Authority to approve explosive-related risk assessments and Management of Change.\n\n\n\nRadiation Safety\n\n * Advanced experience in radiation safety for wireline operations, including radioactive source handling, transport, storage, audits, and incident response.\n * Experience acting as operational authority for radiation\u2011related risk at field and base level for Lithium and Powered Systems\n * Proven experience with lithium\u2011based and powered downhole wireline systems.\n * Ability to assess lithium battery hazards, failure modes, and operational safeguards.\n * Experience approving powered intervention systems in deepwater and extended\u2011reach environments.\n\n\n\nLeadership Scale\n\n * Proven potential or experience in leading 20\u201350 wireline personnel, including supervisors, lead engineers, and specialists.\n * Proven ability to maintain technical discipline, safety performance, and readiness across large teams in safety\u2011critical environments.\n\n\n
