WMS Consultant (Manager Level), Process & IT Practice

About the role

We are seeking a Delivery Lead to join our Process & IT Practice. This role will begin with an onboarding period of approximately 3 to 6 months (based on experience and understanding of general consulting) s to immerse in Miebach’s methodology, clients, and service portfolio. Upon successful completion, you will lead a team of 4–5 consultants delivering end-to-end IT supply chain projects — from landscape assessments and software selection to implementation and continuous improvement.

The Delivery Lead will manage complex supply chain IT initiatives, centric towards warehosuing, involving plaforms  such as;  WMS, TMS, LMS, and/or YMS , regardless of vendor. You will act as a strategic partner to our clients, guiding them through digital transformation while supporting and further developing Miebach as a  market leader for supply chain IT solutions.

What you'll do

Project Leadership

• Manage the delivery of small to large-scale IT supply chain projects from discovery through go-live and stabilization.
• Oversee assessments of clients’ IT landscapes, software evaluations, vendor selections, and implementation roadmaps.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with business objectives, technical requirements, and best practices.
• Manage various parties, including system integrators, automation vendors and application software providers. (Note, Miebach will never implement software without the support of the designated System Integrator).

Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships at all organizational levels, from operational managers to C-suite executives.
• Facilitate executive steering committees and ensure clear communication across stakeholders.

Business Development & Practice Growth

• Support the Head of Process & IT in shaping go-to-market strategies, identifying revenue opportunities, and positioning Miebach in the IT supply chain consulting space.
• Contribute to proposal development, client presentations, and thought leadership initiatives.

People Leadership

• After onboarding, lead, mentor, and further develop a team of 4–5 consultants.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on delivery excellence and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years’ experience delivering IT supply chain projects, including WMS, TMS, LMS, and YMS.
• Proven expertise across software evaluation, vendor selection, and implementation phases.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and IT system integration.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strategic thinker with strong business development acumen.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English; French is an asset.
• Willingness to travel (40–70% on average).
