Job Description - Womens Community Admin (Part-time)
Position Overview
In 2021 Hone launched our online men’s community with the goal of building a truly special place for guys to interact and share their treatment experience. Since then the community has grown to over 45,000 members and has become a hub for men to support each other’s treatment journeys. This summer, Hone wants to replicate the success of this experience by launching a women’s version of the community.
We’re looking for a creative, empathetic, and dedicated individual that is passionate about women’s health and cultivating community. This person will report to the Head of Partnerships, and be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the online women’s community. They will have an important stake in how the community evolves and impacts the lives of numerous women around the United States.
Additionally, this person will have the opportunity to ‘hone’ their marketing skill set and help with projects across paid, brand, and other marketing team initiatives. If you’re someone who has a hunger for learning and growth, then this is the perfect role for you.
Primary Responsibilities
Be the voice of the women’s community – a beacon for joy and hope
Brainstorm and develop new ways to encourage member engagement
Ideate cross community engagement that consistently drive community KPIs
Identify meaningful community feedback and trends from members
Respond to direct messages from members and offer front line support
Escalate complex issues and member concerns to Support Managers
Monitor and flag content that breaks community guidelines
Respond to posts/comments from members with thoughtful answers
Stay up to date on the most current Circle.so features, software updates, and developments
Escalate potential software bugs and issues to Hone’s tech team
Some after hours and weekend attention to community required
Qualifications
1+ year of marketing experience, ideally in a start-up environment
3+ years of experience in a customer facing role
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Experience managing and/or participating in online communities of some kind (facebook, reddit, discord, slack, or other branded communities)
Circle.so or similar community management software familiarity a plus
Photoshop or Canva experience a plus
Compensation Range:
$30K - $40K (approximately 20 working hours each week)
