Job Overview:
AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking a dedicated Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner to deliver specialized care to female patients at the 56th Medical Group, Luke Air Force Base. This provider will manage a broad range of women’s health issues from reproductive and gynecologic care to routine wellness services. This is a Type I Personal Services position, which involves working under direct government supervision in a collaborative military clinical environment.
General Duties:
- Perform clinical services within the scope of privileges granted by the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF).
- Carry out responsibilities per the requirements of the Task Order and DHA policies.
Specific Duties:
- Provide full-spectrum gynecological and reproductive care in accordance with clinical privileges (e.g., exams, contraception, hormone therapy, prenatal care).
- Diagnose and treat common female health conditions including STIs, menstrual disorders, and menopausal symptoms.
- Order diagnostic tests and interpret results.
- Deliver patient education and preventive care including cancer screenings and wellness counseling.
- Document patient encounters in electronic medical records per DHA and MTF standards.
- Collaborate with other providers, specialists, and medical support staff for comprehensive patient care.
- Attend staff meetings, training, and quality improvement sessions.
Qualifications:
Degree: Master’s degree in Nursing or Advanced Certification (Certificate of Authority).
Education: Graduate from an accredited OB/GYN or women’s health nurse practitioner program (ACEN or CCNE).
Certification: Certified as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner by the National Certification Corporation (NCC) for Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Specialties.
Experience: At least 24 months of women’s health clinical experience within the last 36 months.
Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in any U.S. state or territory.
Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen.
Credentialing: Must submit a complete and accurate credentialing package within 15 days of placement.
Skills and Abilities:
- Deep knowledge of gynecology, reproductive endocrinology, and women's preventive care.
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients and care teams.
- Ability to make independent clinical decisions within the scope of practice.
- Proficient in EMR systems and medical documentation.
- Capable of delivering care in a military/federal setting under established policies.

Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- No weekends, holidays, or on-call required
- Maximum of 40 hours per week
Work Environment:
- Outpatient women’s health clinic within a military treatment facility
- Works directly with military and civilian healthcare teams
- Supervised by government clinical leadership
Immunization Requirement:
- Must meet DHA and facility health requirements, including seasonal influenza vaccine (unless waived)
Security Requirement:
- U.S. citizenship and background check required
- Must provide NPI and undergo credentialing prior to start
