Reports to: Associate Pastor of Adult Ministries | Adult Ministries

FLSA Status: Exempt | Full-time

Salary | 45 hours/week

Position Purpose 

The Minister of Women’s Ministries will develop, coordinate, and administer an effective and comprehensive ministry that encourages women throughout northeast Ohio to love Jesus, grow with others, and serve the world.

Main Responsibilities

• Disciple, shepherd, and teach women to grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus and equipped for the work of the kingdom by being unified in faith. 


• Help women discover their passion and spiritual gifts in order to effectively serve in the church and community. 


• Provide oversight for ministry leaders and cast vision for the ministry. 


• Provide opportunities for women to draw closer to Jesus through regular Grace Church programming, groups, and events. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Recruit, train, and equip volunteers for various ministry service roles. 


• Oversee key volunteer leaders responsible for leading sub-ministry groups, supporting them in their ministry, and helping them to grow in their walk with God. 


• Teach classes and occasionally preach at events as needed. 


• Oversee the various women’s ministry recurring events.


• Serve as supervisor for ministry administrative assistant. 

• Oversee strategy for all promotional materials for Women’s Ministry, and collaborate with administrative assistant to produce printed materials, promotion of events, social media pages, etc.


• Oversee women’s budget and discern necessary ministry expenses.


• Oversee personal budget to utilize for appropriate ministry networking and building relationships with congregants and ministry volunteers. 


• Serve as an effective teammate on the Grace Ministry Staff Team, being present for large church functions and holidays as a leader and shepherd within the church body. 

Proficiencies Needed/Qualifications

• Must be licensed/ordained or willing to pursue within the C&MA denomination


• Must have strong giftings in relational leadership and shepherding 


• Previous experience in leading similar ministry and/or women’s discipleship
