Job Title: Wood Painter/ Woodworker

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work with group leader and Monroe facility management to ensure production goals are met.
2. Comply with all Monroe policies, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
3. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

1. Must be able to follow step panel examples with strong attention to detail.
2. Apply insulating coat as well as a variety of colors and dyes.
3. Meet or exceed quality expectations for high gloss finished product.
4. Must be able to operate stroke sander, palm sander, and pole sander.
5. Perform preparation sand on all natural, exotic, dyed, and painted shells.
6. Ability to maintain cleanliness of area and equipment, i.e. spray gun, spray booths.
7. Ability to read and use measuring devices as required.
8. Other duties as requested.

PRE-DETERMINED QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Painting or finishing experience within a manufacturing environment required.
2. Ability to read, follow directions, and good communication skills.
3. Basic computer skills required.
4. Ability to work with others in a team environment. 
5. Maintain regular attendance.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

1. Ability to stand and or walk for extended periods of time.
2. Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
3. Requires frequent bending, reaching, lifting, repetitive motions, twisting, stooping, turning, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
4. Work is performed indoors.
