Who We Are Seeking:
We are seeking a dependable, hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations at Wooly's with professionalism, integrity, and a passion for hospitality. This role requires strong kitchen experience, excellent organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of kitchen experience, with prior leadership or management experience preferred.
Some or both English and Spanish language proficiency is preferred to support a bilingual team environment. Experience with scheduling, inventory, ordering, and invoice reconciliation is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Roles and Responsibilities:
As Kitchen Manager, you’ll work directly with the Executive Chef and General Manager to maintain the smooth operation of our kitchen. Core responsibilities include:
Hiring, onboarding, and orienting new kitchen staff
Prepping and working the line to support service and train team members as needed
Managing scheduling, inventory, invoice reconciliation, and ordering
Collaborating with the Front of House (FOH) to ensure a seamless guest experience
Upholding all health and safety standards and ensuring regulatory compliance
Providing mentorship, accountability, and development opportunities for team members
Maintaining full-time availability and schedule flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Wages:
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $30–$36, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional incentive opportunities are available based on performance and operational success.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years of kitchen experience in a high-volume restaurant
Management or leadership role experience preferred
Some or both English and Spanish language skills preferred
Prep, line and expediting skills – required
Experience with or willingness to learn: staff scheduling, inventory management, ordering and vendor communication, invoice tracking and reconciliation
Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
Flexible with schedule and available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Excellent communicator and team leader
