WordPress Website Design and Development Specialist

WordPress Design & Development

• Customize themes and templates using PHP, HTML, JS and CSS
• Leverage plugins to extend functionality
• Build and manage responsive page layouts that prioritize user experience (UX) and site speed
• Collaborate closely with marketing team to translate concepts into functional, vis
• Provide technical insights and usability recommendations during project planning and development phases

Website Support & Maintenance

• Manage day-to-day updates for dealership sites on multiple CMS platforms
• Update pages, SEO content, banners, assets, and link structures, troubleshoot site issues, broken layouts or rendering bugs
• Maintain brand consistency and ensure clean, intuitive user experience across all properties
• Respond promptly and professionally to support requests

• Proficient in HTML & CSS
• Basic to intermediate with PHP (ie. WordPress themes, templates, and functions)
• Familiarity with JavaScript, Rest API or jQuery for interactive page elements
• Experience customizing themes, templates, and page layouts
• Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and content structure best practices
• Solid web/graphic design skills (Figma or similar tools), including banners, hero sections, promotional graphics, and branded website visuals

Plus to Have:

• Experience with optimizing page speed and performance preferred
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, or similar tools preferred
• Experience with Google Ads or other paid advertising platforms is a plus
• Experience with MySQL and XML is a plus.
• Experience working with Creative/Design/Marketing firms or departments a plus.

The annual salary range offered for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000. This is subject to change based on the candidate's level of experience and skillset.
