Work Center (WC) Assembler/Welder/Count/Pack Machines 1st Shift 7 am - 3 pm M-F

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Assembler/Welder/Count/Pack machine operator to join our team at our e coat (electrocoating) finishing plant serving the automotive industry. In this role, you will work at a small welding station and/or assembly machine to produce high-quality metal parts for coating. You’ll be part of a team dedicated to safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a small welding and/or assembly machine to produce metal components
• Load and unload parts, ensuring proper handling and orientation
• Inspect workpieces for quality and adherence to specifications
• Hand dexterity, attention to detail, flexibility and able to push/pull clips, grommets, misc. attachments for minor assembly
• Use a computer and barcode scanner to track production and inventory
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily goals 

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during shift

• Able to lift up to 35 lbs safely

• Basic computer skills and ability to use a barcode scanner

• Previous experience in welding or metal assembly a plus, but not required – we will train the right candidate

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
