Job Summary
Are you a dependable pet lover who enjoys spending time outside? If so, this may be the position for you! We are seeking a Pet Waste Technician to join our team of hard-working individuals. As a Pet Waste Technician, you will be responsible for removing dog waste within a designated area. You will walk an assigned outdoor route, remove animal waste using a pooper scooper, and properly dispose of the waste.

Responsibilities

Work outside year-round, in a variety of weather conditions

Follow an assigned route using a GPS navigation system

Remove waste using a pooper scooper

Dispose of pet waste at appropriate receptacles

Interact with pets and pet owners

Qualifications

Ability to work independently

MUST HAVE GOOD DRIVING RECORD

Must be able to get to work at our office on Atlanta Industrial Pkwy

Physical capabilities to walk 2-5 miles a day, lift at least 25 pounds, and bend frequently

Valid driver's license required

Hardworking and reliable with an attention to detail

Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Our pooper scooper service technicians have been part of the Dirty Work family for years. Each technician holds proven track records of performance, reliability and honesty. We never use day laborers or short-term contractors because we believe familiarity and trust are crucial when allowing someone into your home or workplace.

The same dog waste service technicians visit you every time, so they will become familiar with both your space and pets. They watch for any signs of illness or infection in your furry friends, while also informing you of any insect/pest problems, dog stool issues or faulty gates.

Whenever we visit, we treat your space as our own; many of our clients install synthetic turf in their doggy areas, which requires extra upkeep to maintain its appearance. We’ve got you: after scooping, we use a hose and disinfectant to keep the turf as sparkling as the day it was installed.
