Requested Availability: 3-5 Hours weekly, flexible schedule. *Students with an additional work study position should NOT complete work for both positions in one day.
The Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism Program Instagram Work-Study position will run the @icp_docit Instagram account. The ideal candidates should be experienced using and communicating with social media, organized, and able to work independently. The responsibilities will include bi-weekly meetings with the Program Chair to discuss content ideas and report progress, outreach to Doc students to request work submission, image usage, and permissions, communication with members of ICP’s Marketing Team regarding collaborations/coordination with ICP’s main institutional Instagram, and occasional attendance of events involving alumni, faculty, or current students of the Documentary Practice and Visual Journalism Program as needed. Due to the flexible nature of this position candidates are required to keep an accurate record of their hours worked and report them to the Program Chair and HR on a weekly basis.
