HEAD HOUSEKEEPER
The Head Housekeeper reports to the Front Desk Lead or General Manager.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Housekeeping Department handles the day-to-day upkeep of the property’s common and
public areas which includes, but is not limited to bath and shower houses, laundry rooms,
recreation room, retail store, etc. The housekeeping team members, like all team members, play
an important role in ensuring a positive first and lasting impression through exceptional customer
service.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Work closely with the Front Desk Lead or General Manager for scheduling and task
management creation for the housekeeping department.
Monitors inventory, ordering supplies as needed and as approved.
Training all staff and new hires in housekeeping tasks, use of software and report generation.
Supervise housekeeping staff with guidance of Front Desk Lead or General Manager.
Clean bath and shower houses, laundry facilities, recreation room, and other areas as directed
by management, such as retail store.
Clean cabins and rentals to prepare for new guests.
Keep common areas clean and maintain them to AOM standards.
Monitor and report on the inventory of cleaning supplies.
Aid the maintenance staff and other staff members as needed and directed by management.
Report any maintenance concerns for repair in common areas, cabins, recreation room, etc.
Assist with clean-up at community and resident activities and functions on the property.
Maintain open communication with management.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance and friendly attitude toward guests,
management and co-workers.
Follow and adhere to all standard operating procedures.
Generate reports as directed by management.
Keep clean and orderly work areas.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Related Skills:
Must be able to read and speak English.
Excellent communication skills.
Time management and leadership skills.
Ability to lift 40 lbs or more using proper lifting techniques.
Ability to change activities frequently and cope with interruptions.

Ability to use cleaning equipment properly, such as vacuum cleaners, mops, dusters, etc.
Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals
Complete all assigned responsibilities, tasks, reports, projects etc. in a professional manner
and on an on-time basis.
Be available for work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
Demonstrate good personal control and judgment under normal and stressful conditions.
