Workday Solution Center Senior Consultant, FIN Core + Customer Accounts

Avaap is seeking a Workday Senior Consultant, FIN Core + Customer Accounts to join our team supporting a structured, accelerated implementation model. This role is designed for experienced consultants who can lead functional delivery while operating within a proven, repeatable framework.

In this model, clients go live quickly using a preconfigured baseline informed by deep experience in government and higher education. As a Senior Consultant, you will guide clients through validation, configuration, and deployment—ensuring alignment to scope while delivering high-quality outcomes on an accelerated timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead FIN Core and Customer Accounts workstreams within Workday Financials implementations

• Guide clients through requirement validation and scope alignment

• Configure and deploy solutions within a structured delivery model

• Provide best practice recommendations aligned to Avaap’s baseline approach

• Support testing, issue resolution, and go-live readiness

• Partner with cross-functional teams including integrations and data conversion

Preferred Experience

• Experience in at least 3 full Workday implementations across:

  • FDM

  • Financial Accounting

  • Budgets

  • Banking

  • Customer Accounts

• Must be certified in Record to Report and Banking

• Experience with FDM and Contract to Cash strongly desired

• Strong understanding of financial business processes

• Experience working with government or higher education clients preferred

Pay Transparency

• Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience. As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.

• Base Salary Range is $115,000 to $160,000 plus 20% variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.

During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.

• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively

• Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment

• Passion for exceptional customer service and collaboration

• Ability to work remotely or out of one of Avaap’s physical office locations

• Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
