Job Description - Workers Comp Intake/Verification WFH

Patient Intake Coordinator

Location: (Remote)
Pay: $28-41/hr.

Responsibilities

As an intake coordinator, you are responsible for monitoring hospital and email systems for new referrals, initiating electronic (EMR) for new intakes and referrals, and completing insurance reviews and certifications for new referrals. You will arrange DME and systems required for admission, as well as coordinating visits for hospice admission.

Requirements and skills

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong affinity for customer service
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Relevant experience with Patient Intake and Referrals
  • Significant experience with Workers Comp is required
  • Experience obtaining prior authorizations for durable medical equipment is required
  • Experience with Medicare Insurance Verification is required
  • Government Insurance collections experience is a plus
  • Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills
