Job Description - Workers Compensation & Leave Specialist

Description

Drive Innovation. Deliver Care. Make a Difference.

At Swickard Auto Group, we don’t just sell vehicles—we serve people. With a brand built on modern innovation, hospitality, and efficiency, we are looking for individuals who are not only skilled but also caring and agile in their approach to service. We are currently seeking a dedicated Workers’ Compensation & Leave Specialist to support our employees through some of life’s most challenging moments with expertise, empathy, and compliance-driven excellence.

About the Role

In this key HR position, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of workers’ compensation claims and leave of absence programs—including FMLA, CFRA, PFML, and ADA accommodations. You will ensure our people are supported with care while navigating their time away from work, and that Swickard remains in full compliance with all regulatory requirements.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and manage workers’ compensation claims from intake through closure.
  • Administer FMLA, California Family Rights Act (CFRA), Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL), and Paid Family Leave (PFL).
  • Oversee the ADA/FEHA interactive process, including medical review, documentation, and reasonable accommodations.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for employees needing leave or workplace modifications.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, labor codes, and company policies.
  • Maintain clear, timely communication with TPAs, managers, and internal stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in workers’ comp and leave administration.
  • Solid knowledge of California leave laws, FMLA, ADA, and FEHA.
  • High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
  • Professional, compassionate communication style.
  • Experience with HRIS and leave tracking systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, Kronos).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Certifications like CPDM, CLMS, or PHR are a plus.

Why Swickard?

  • Be part of a company known for its agility, efficiency, and hospitality.
  • Work in an environment where your expertise is valued, and your contributions make a real impact.
  • Join a brand that’s built on care—for customers and employees alike.

Ready to Apply?

If you're passionate about people and precision, and you thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment, we want to hear from you. Apply today and be a part of Swickard’s next chapter in innovation and care.
