Primary Responsibilities:
· Set up claims in the Risk Management Information System within establish timeframes
· Mail claim documents and checks in a timely manner
· Assemble and organize medical bills for submission to the bill audit vendor partner
· Assemble and organize medical documents for submission to medical providers
· Draft template letters to support the adjusting team
· Enter miscellaneous claim invoices for payment
· Date stamp & upload claim documents
· Set notifications of document receipt to adjusters from within the Risk Management Information System
· Other clerical functions, as assigned
Required Skills and Knowledge:
· 2 Years of Clerical Support Experience
· High School Diploma or GED. Bachelor Degree, preferred
· Education may be substituted for experience
· Strong attention to detail
· Knowledge of medical terminology
· PC proficient, including Microsoft Office products
· Ability to think critically
· Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies
