Job Summary: 

The Workplace Consultant performs a wide variety of duties including sales support, order entry, telephone coverage, email coverage, troubleshooting, reporting, and all aspects of customer support. The Workplace Consultant is adept in both verbal and written communication skills, is highly organized, and is able to prioritize work effectively. The Workplace Consultant exemplifies the company's core values through every interaction and transaction.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)

· Identifies prospects and potential customers through referrals, networking, associations, business 

journals, web sites, etc.

· Researches and investigates all prospects’ product, industry, structure, and potential as future clients, in order to qualify leads and develop an effective call or first contact strategy and sales plan.

· Executes call or first contact strategy and establishes rapport or follow-up with prospects; schedules consultative meetings and presentations to obtain future business. 

· Serve as primary point of contact and communication with customer as warranted.

· Help to establish, develop and maintain the desired levels of customer satisfaction of each account. 

· Monitor and measure Intivity’s performance for quarterly reporting.

· Prepare quotation requests and RFP’s for clients review.

· Develop and enter a budget, create pricing, determine profit margin, and align internal resources (project management, design, account management, and other Intivity services) for execution of sales.  Outlining product specifications, customer pricing, delivery and installation timeframes, budgets and product lead times.

· Forward client approved quotes to Sales Support for order entry and maintenance, per Intivity guidelines.

· Be familiar with all contract agreements.

· Perform site visits as necessary with no project manager.

· Comply with Intivity’s Credit and Collections’ policy and procedures by obtaining credit information, providing the customer with credit application and following up with client to ensure application is completed accurately and returned; review Intivity’s terms and conditions with customer and receives authorizing signature. Secures the customers’ deposit and review customers purchase orders and purchasing policies to remove any payment obstacle(s).

· Collect delinquent funds by serving as a liaison between the customer and Credit and Collections to resolve price discrepancies, damage and authorization issues. Resolve credit holds by communicating the clients’ needs regarding payment and financing with Credit and Collections

· Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending company and vendor sponsored educational and product workshops; reviewing professional publications; establish personal networks; and participate in professional societies.

· Keep management informed by submitting funnel reports, CRM, and project updates

· Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products and delivery schedules.  Recommend to Sales Manager improvements in products, services, and methods by evaluating results and competitive developments.

· Contribute to team effort by supporting related goals

· Obtain new product orders by servicing existing accounts through continuous needs analysis and follow-up.

· Update and review FMOE’s credit and collections policy yearly.

· Attend daily and weekly sales huddles.

· Identifies and maintains positive relationships with Architects & Designers through referrals, networking, associations, business Journals, web sites, Social Media, CEU’s etc.

· Researches and investigates all firms’ product, industry, structure, and potential as it pertains to future client in order to qualify and develop an effective call or first contact strategy and support plan.

· Executes regular contact strategy and establishes rapport or follow-up with firm’s prime decision makers in furniture specification; schedules consultative meetings and presentations to obtain future business. 

· Serve as primary point of contact and communication with firm pre-bid, as warranted.

· Connects end-use customer or A+D bid coordinator with appropriate Intivity Sales staff at appropriate project phase.

· Ability to use and understand Intivity CRM.

· Ability to use Intivity’s lead generation program, currently Zoom Info.

Accountabilities:
 

Contribute to the overall success of the Company by performing all assigned duties in a professional, timely and accurate manner. Follow all Company safety policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook, Corporate Safety Manual and any local regulations. 

Supervisory Responsibilities: 

The Workplace Consultant does not have any supervisory responsibilities. 

Minimum Qualification Standards: 

· High School diploma or equivalent preferred. 

· Bachelor’s Degree

· One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Must have at the time of hire and maintain throughout employment, a valid Non CDL-C drivers’ license, free of major infractions and acceptable to our insurance carrier.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

· Computer proficiency including word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, and generating reports using standard software applications.

· Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments. 

· Ability to work independently, investigates problems, initiate solutions, work under deadline constraints and manage multiple tasks.

· Ability to maintain high standards of professional manner and personal appearance. 

· Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills including sensitivity and ability to work with confidential information. 

· Ability to analyze and solve problems. 

· Ability to develop and maintain accurate records and data files. 

Equipment, Machines and Software Used: 

· To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Microsoft Outlook and DDMS.

· Ability to operate various office equipment including computer, printer, telephone, fax machine, photocopier, and scanner. 

Mental and Physical Requirements:

· Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, grasp, talk and hear.

· Ability to occasionally lift and or move up to 10 pounds.

· Ability to articulate clearly and conduct oral presentations. 

Environmental Conditions:

· The Workplace Consultant is subject to both outside and inside environmental conditions.

Travel Requirements:

· Ability to travel via automobile and/or airplane.

Pay Range: $55,000 - $70,000 plus commission
