Summary of Position: 

The Campus Worship Pastor provides pastoral and visionary leadership to the worship and production ministries of the League City Campus. Reporting directly to the Campus Pastor and working in close partnership with the Central Worship Pastor, this role is responsible for developing healthy teams and leaders, executing excellent and Spirit-led worship experiences, directly overseeing the campus Production Director and Music Director, and helping provide pastoral leadership and care for the broader campus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Campus Worship and Production Ministry

  • Partner with the Campus Pastor to create excellent, Spirit-led worship experiences that reflect the unique heart and culture of the League City Campus.
  
  
  • Directly oversee the campus Production Director and Music Director, providing leadership, accountability, development, and alignment for the overall health and execution of worship and production ministries.
  
  
  • Provide oversight for the campus production ministry while empowering the Production Director to lead day-to-day technical execution, systems, equipment care, and team leadership.
  
  
  • Lead the planning, preparation, and execution of weekend worship services, including rehearsals, soundchecks, musical preparation, service programming, and post-weekend evaluation.
  
  
  • Own Planning Center scheduling and communication for worship and production teams, ensuring clear plans, timely communication, healthy rotations, and dependable weekend coverage.
  
  
  • Lead auditions, onboarding, and ongoing development for worship and production Dream Team members, maintaining appropriate skill, character, and culture standards.
  
  
  • Continually identify, train, and release worship leaders, musicians, production leaders, coaches, and captains so the ministry develops healthy depth and is not dependent on one person leading every function.
  
  
  • Maintain a structured leadership development pipeline that equips emerging leaders for meaningful responsibility across worship and production ministries.
  
  
  • Ensure all weekend worship services are thoughtfully scheduled, programmed, and executed with consistency, excellence, and spiritual intentionality.
  
  
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and stewardship of the Worship Ministry budget in alignment with campus and central leadership.
  
  
  • Participate in worship planning meetings to help design meaningful services, events, and creative moments for the League City Campus.
  
  
  • Work in close partnership with the Central Worship Pastor for worship-specific direction, development, standards, and alignment with FFC Worship.
  
  
  • Coordinate with Central Creative to support campus creative needs and shared churchwide standards, following the communication and meeting cadence established by campus and central leadership.
  
  
  • Provide pastoral care and leadership by investing relationally in worship and production Dream Team members through regular one-on-one development, encouragement, and support.
    
  
  
  
  

2. Dream Team Development

  • Help individuals connect to the church through the Next Steps process, including auditions, onboarding, and integration into appropriate worship and production teams.
  
  
  • Actively build and nurture a healthy Dream Team culture within the worship ministry, fostering a spirit of excellence, unity, and spiritual growth.
  
  
  • Participate in or lead a small group to model relational discipleship and encourage deeper connection within the body of Christ.
  
  
  • Identify, equip, and empower coaches and captains to lead well, multiply leaders, and sustain healthy worship and production teams.
  
  
  • Plan and host special events and team gatherings that foster community, strengthen discipleship, and cultivate a vibrant worship and production team culture.
  
  
  
  

3. Campus Creative

  • Coordinate with Central Creative to support campus marketing plans, including website updates, social media support, and news videos, while maintaining alignment with churchwide standards and processes.
  
  
  • Fill out creative requests as needed to support the needs of the campus.
  
  
  • Effectively run and administrate the campus Photography Team.
    
    
  
  
  
  

4. Care & Connection

  • Weekly Care: Responsible for spending 2-4 hours a week caring for and connecting with the people of FFC through phone calls, meetings, and emails.
  
  
  • Crisis Care: Responsible for responding to any team member under your oversight that is facing a crisis care situation such as a death in the family, funeral, hospitalization, or offense

  •  Small Group
    
    
    
    • Enthusiastically lead a small group in each of the 3 small group semesters.
    
    
    • Help recruit and launch 5 small groups in the Spring/Fall semester
      
    
    
    
    
  
  
  
  

• Dream Team

  • Help new Dream Team members under your oversight find their place within the Dream Team culture
  
  
  • Ensure each team under your leadership hosts at least two fellowships and two trainings per year
  
  
  • Confirm that all teams are being led by an approved and equipped team leader
  
  
  • Ensure all team members under your oversight are scheduled monthly, serving consistently, and growing in their God-given potential
  
  
  • Communicate weekly with your team leaders, and ensure those leaders are doing the same with their teams

From time to time, the Small Groups Coordinator may be assigned additional duties or projects that support the mission, ministry needs, and overall effectiveness of Faith Family Church.
