Worship Leader

Position Summary: Lead worship for ACC services and special events. This position will assist in providing ACC the best possible worship experience. The individual will participate on the worship team as scheduled.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

• Agree to ACC’s doctrinal distinctive and vision as found in What We Believe/Vision statement


• Fulfill the character qualifications of a deacon as taught in the Scriptures


• Demonstrate ability as a reliable leader who is able to shepherd and disciple while communicating clearly with others and effectively lead teams


• Possess strong interpersonal, organizational and project management skills exercised with discernment and sound judgment


• Ability to articulate verbal and written communication clearly


• Possess advanced experience in leading and/or playing in worship bands


• Exhibit strong personal relationship with The Lord that translates into a Spirit-led worship service


• Ability to adapt and thrive in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate scheduled worship sets. This includes recruiting a worship team, arranging songs, order of service, and managing the process through to completion


• Play other instruments as needed/scheduled for worship sets


• Cheerfully work with other worship team members on ACC worship calendar and setting up/striking stage equipment as needed/scheduled


• Provide worship leading for special events and support as needed/scheduled


• Write/develop/compose songs


• Develop personal skills as pertaining to leading worship at Athey Creek (singing, vocals, song writing, etc.)


• Maintain and manage Athey Creek’s Planning Center Online Account


• Sound engineering as needed


• All other duties as assigned

Schedule: Tuesday – Sunday; Full-Time
