Wound Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - King County

**This position requires the successful applicant to perform mobile wound care services in King County of Washington State**

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant license with authority to practice in Washington State.

• Certification or significant experience in wound care (e.g., CWS, CWCN, or equivalent) preferred.

• Prescriptive authority (DEA number not required)

• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance for travel between patient locations.

• Strong clinical skills in wound assessment, debridement, biopsies and advanced wound care techniques.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.

• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently in a mobile setting.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive wound assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide advanced wound care to patients in their homes and skilled nursing facilities.

• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and facility staff to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.

• Conduct telehealth/virtual visits as permitted by state laws

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient visits, treatments, and progress.

• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound care management and prevention strategies.

• Travel efficiently between patient locations in Snohomish and King Counties

• Work autonomously and collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
