Position Overview:

Seeking a part-time Wound Care Provider (Physician, NP, or PA) to deliver specialized evaluation and treatment for acute and chronic wounds in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct wound assessments and recommend treatments.
• Perform debridement as appropriate.
• Recommend wound care products.
• Provide two annual in-service trainings.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Physician: MD or DO,or
• NP: Master’s in Nursingor
• PA: Bachelor’s/Master’s & accredited PA program
• Licensure: Active New York State license appropriate to role (MD, DO, NP, or PA)
• Experience: Wound management experience preferred
• Technical Skills: Wound assessment, debridement techniques, knowledge of advanced wound care products
• Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, patient education skills, ability to conduct effective training sessions
