Job Description - XDA - Gaming Journalist

XDA is a leading technology publication with a passionate global community of tech enthusiasts. We specialize in delivering breaking news, in-depth reviews, insightful analysis, and engaging features on everything from mobile technology to software development. As we expand our coverage, we're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Gaming Journalist to join our editorial team.

What We’re Looking For:

Create news articles, features, reviews, opinion pieces, and listicles related to video games, gaming hardware, and the broader gaming culture.
Keep up with the latest developments in the gaming industry, including trends, game updates, and industry events.
Interact with our readers through comments, social media, and forums to build a strong connection with our audience.
Work closely with our editorial team to ensure content meets our quality standards and editorial guidelines.
Utilize SEO best practices to ensure articles reach the widest possible audience.

Skills We’re Looking For:

At least 1-2 years of experience in journalism, preferably with a focus on gaming or technology.
Excellent writing, grammar, and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong knowledge of video games, gaming platforms (PC, consoles, and mobile), and gaming trends.
Ability to dig deep into topics and present information accurately and engagingly.
Familiarity with SEO practices and content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
Ability to work within a remote team and take constructive feedback.
