X-ray Tech

Aci Health is seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray technology to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, patient care, and safety protocols. The X-ray Technician will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations on patients following established protocols and procedures.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety guidelines and aseptic techniques.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
• Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images while minimizing exposure to radiation.
• Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient information.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss findings and assist in diagnosis.
• Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technologies, including CT, PET scans, and mammography.
• Participate in quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of imaging services.

Requirements

• Must have at least one (1) year of experience.
• BLS, ARRT R certifications required.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical imaging techniques is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are necessary for maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing compassionate patient care.
