X-Ray Tech

We are seeking a skilled X-ray Technician to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray technology to assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray examinations on patients, ensuring proper positioning and technique to obtain high-quality images.
• Collaborate with physicians to understand the specific diagnostic requirements for each patient.
• Maintain knowledge of various imaging modalities, including CT scans and PET scans, to assist in comprehensive diagnostic evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Document all procedures accurately in the patient's medical record, utilizing appropriate medical terminology.
• Provide support in emergency situations, particularly within the emergency room or Level II trauma center settings.
• Stay updated on advancements in imaging technology and techniques relevant to nuclear medicine and emergency medicine.

Ceritfications:ARRT R, BLS

Teaching Hospital Experience: Required

Experience

• Proven experience as an X-ray Technician or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of anatomy knowledge and diagnostic evaluation processes.
• Familiarity with various imaging equipment and techniques, including CT scans and PET scans.
• Experience working in an emergency room or Level II trauma center is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in medical terminology related to radiology and patient care.

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
