Xray Technologist Per Diem

Description

Excel Orthopaedics is looking for a Per Diem Radiology (Xray) Technologist. Come join a dynamic orthopedic practice and make a difference in the lives of our patients.

• Per Diem Schedule
• Outpatient Setting = no nights, weekends or holidays
• Greets patients, prepares patients for x-ray by positioning with the least discomfort, provides patient education regarding xray,
• Obtains clear images as directed by the provider using appropriate safety precautions and processes images in PACs system
• Assists patient with dressing as needed, escorts patient to and from exam room
• Maintains and adheres to written safety polices for use of radiologic equipment in compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards
• Follows HIPAA and documentation compliance standards

Requirements

• Certified Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required (RT / ARRT)
• Minimum of two years related experience preferred but new graduates welcome to apply
• Demonstrated ability to handle high volume of patients and multitask in fast paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills including EMR and MS Office necessary,
• Experience with eClinicalWorks or Konica PACS a plus
• Able to work collaboratively with multiple health professionals in a busy and complex environment using tact, diplomacy, and discipline.
