Yard Delivery Associate (CDL Required)

Terra Green is a full-service landscape company that is driven by its mission and core values. In order to better fulfill their mission, the company is in search for a Yard Delivery Associate. This future team member will be responsible for delivering landscape materials such as mulch, stone, soil, pine straw, etc., to commercial landscape companies and residential properties. This person will need to be able to provide outstanding customer service to all clients and deliver all material in safe areas appropriately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.

When not delivering material to customers, the future team member will be serving customers on company premises (yard). The future team member will be responsible for assisting customers with any questions they may have in regards to material and loading customers with their product in a timely, safe, and polite manner. This future team member will be the front line and first impression to our customers. Therefore, an ideal candidate is professional, courteous, and enjoys working with people. A clean driving record with CDL is required. Skid steer equipment experience is preferred, but not required. This is a fulltime year-round position.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver landscaping material to clients in an efficient, timely, and polite manner
• Load and unload company and client vehicles with product safely and efficiently
• Meet delivery deadlines
• Communicate well with both manager and clients
• Inbound material receiving and put away
• Complete work orders
• Perform basic truck maintenance
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading vehicles
• Obtain client signatures when needed

• Valid CDL Driver License, with a clean driving record
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Familiarity of using navigation systems
• Time management skills to ensure deliveries are on schedule
• Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving
• Friendly and engaging personality
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
• Ability to work alone for long periods of time
• Ability to manage and perform minor equipment maintenance
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various climates and conditions
• Ability to work overtime, as needed, to meet customer demands
• Skid Steer experience preferred, but not required
• Delivery experience preferred, but not required
• Mulch yard experience preferred, but not required

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Overtime
• Weekend availability at times may be required
