Job Summary:

The Yard Hand I is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the materials yard, including loading, unloading, and organizing building materials. This is an entry-level position requiring minimal experience, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials from trucks and customer vehicles.
• Organize and stock materials in designated yard locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the yard by removing debris and ensuring clear walkways.
• Use basic hand tools and equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Assist customers with locating materials and handling general inquiries.
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

Requirements:

• No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
