Yard Jockey

Academy is currently seeking a full-time Yard Jockey for our Hackensack, NJ location. $20.00-24.00 per hour. Pay rate commensurate with experience level.

Shift:

• Monday-Friday, 4:00am-9:30am & 12:00pm-4:00pm


• Saturday, 4:00am-9:00am

The Yard Jockey will be responsible for:

• Safely positioning and lining up buses on company property according to the daily operating schedule.


• Assigning drivers to their designated buses and communicating bus assignments clearly.


• Coordinating the movement and positioning of buses to help ensure an organized and timely departure process.

Yard Jockey Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license


• Must be willing to learn how to move buses on company property


• CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements is preferred, but not required
