Job Description - Yard Person

Currently we are seeking a Yard Person to join our team and be an essential part of our This person will be loading ship outs, chassis check-in, and the unloading of deliveries.

Your Role in Our Mission:

Check-in chassis deliveries.

Entering chassis data and pictures into computer system.

Loading ship outs by either driving or crane.

Unloading deliveries with a forklift.

Keeping designated areas outside the building clean and organized.

Operate equipment in a safe manner and report hazards associated with the equipment or its operation to the appropriate personnel.

To Perform this Job Successfully:

Forklift experience and crane experience preferred

CDL or chassis experience preferred

Must be able to read measurement devices, such as rulers or gauges

Keen attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Basic computer knowledge and skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Results oriented/self-starter

Problem assessment and problem-solving skills

Ability to maintain a safe work environment by following all standards and procedures

Ability to maintain regular attendance in accordance with company attendance policies.
