Hourly Range: $17 -$18
 

JOB SUMMARY

We’re seeking a reliable, organized, and hands-on tradesperson to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, keeping work areas efficient, and lending a hand where needed. Primary duties include maintaining clean and orderly work areas, organizing materials and equipment, transporting parts to and from sites, loading and unloading materials, and assisting with light electrical work under supervision. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Maintain a clean yard, including removing debris and litter.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and shop spaces.
• Assist with inventory control, ensuring materials and tools are properly handled, stored efficiently and safely.
• Load and transport tools, materials, and parts to our field operations teams and shop staff.
• Perform washing and painting touch-ups on equipment needed throughout the yard to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Maintain an organized and stocked equipment/material floor plan.
• Perform basic routine electrical maintenance, such as installing devices, pulling wire, and routine fixture work under supervision.
• Provide support to tradespeople and supervisors by performing general labor duties and assisting with project preparation.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently, safely, and professionally.
• Load, unload, and relocate materials by hand or using standard equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Organize and maintain the yard and storage areas to ensure clean, safe, and efficient operations.
• Assist with inventory control by conducting checks and verifying accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Support drivers and shipping/receiving teams with staging and loading materials.
• Operate standard yard equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, etc.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while always wearing required PPE.
• Perform standard maintenance or cleanup duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws and regulations.
• Adhere to OSHA rules and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned by management. 

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• No prior experience required — on-the-job training provided
• Clean driving record and valid driver’s license. Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions
• Basic math and communication skills
• Can safely operate hand tools, power tools, lifts, hoists, hydraulic jacks and overhead cranes.

TYPICAL WORK SCHEDULE: The typical work schedule is as follows: Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm. Position is located in Greensboro, NC.
