AmeriCorps VISTA Program Coordinator, EASE (Engagement Acce

The primary focus of the clinic is to improve the care provided to children with special education needs. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for creating materials and processes, designing communications protocols, and fostering new internal and external partnerships with parents, school districts, and community organizations. Additionally, they will play a key role in data collection for the various grants funding the clinic, aiming to enhance the quality of care provided and meet reporting deadlines. Through the efforts of the Program Coordinator, we expect to achieve improved outcomes for this vulnerable population and ensure the long-term sustainability of our work.

Member Duties :

The VISTA Program Coordinator will take the lead in evaluating and enhancing the organization of patient-facing resources within the EASE clinic. They will conduct a thorough review of the current resources and implement improvements to streamline accessibility and usability for patients. The VISTA member will also collaborate with EASE staff to develop regular newsletters and communications for EASE stakeholders, including clinic participants. Additionally, the Coordinator will maintain ongoing collaboration with the GROW Program, Boston Public Schools, and other collaborating hospitals both within Massachusetts and nationwide. Lastly, the VISTA Program Coordinator will actively research grant funding opportunities aligned with EASE goals, such as education, special education, health equity, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
