Our core business is the rehabilitation of investment properties, both residential and commercial. • Salary Range - $19- $23 
• Monday-Friday
• 7:30 am- 4 pm

Job Details:

The Landscaper will perform a wide range of physical labor tasks to ensure the upkeep of clients’ properties and their surroundings. As part of our team, you are responsible for the upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, and parking lots. You should possess a well-rounded knowledge of landscaping and building maintenance, and thrive in a dynamic environment that offers variety. Addtionally, EPC landscapers work with our property management office staff to achieve the highest level of customer service and perform other general duties concerning the clients’ property as directed. This is a year-round position with full-time work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform property work, including but not limited to cutting grass, weed trimming, weed removal, mulching, cleaning up around the property, and snow and trash removal for common areas and tenant units.
• Operate zero-turn mowers, both sit-down and stand-on types.
• Work involves spending a significant amount of time outdoors in varying weather conditions and at many different locations.
• Ensure completion of work orders according to scheduling demands and work requested.
• Cleans and prepares designated areas of construction job sites as assigned. This may include cleaning and removing materials such as rubble, debris, and trash.
• Operates a wide variety of hand and power tools.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and balancing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times/100 pounds team lifts occasionally.
• Must be able to carry tools and equipment up and down stairs.
• Must be able to climb ladders and balance on scaffolding.
• Must be able to traverse a variety of properties in varying weather conditions.

Work environment

• Clients’ properties
• Apartment complex common areas
• Often exposed to the weather due to the maintenance of the interior and exterior of dwellings 

Travel required

• Driving a vehicle and trailer to and from various properties daily. 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None

Required education and experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Valid driver's license along with a dependable vehicle and a clean driving record. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS AN MVR CHECK.
• Experience with smartphones and applications
• Ability to follow directions and propensity to learn
• Must be able to use basic hand tools as well as power tools (basic hand tools required)  
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English for business purposes

Preferred education and experience

• Previous job experience: Landscaping, Property Maintenance, Contractors, Construction Workers, Hotel Maintenance, etc.
• At least two years of related experience is preferred.

Additional eligibility requirements

• Must have a working smartphone and complete daily work tickets via mobile device
• Must have your own personal hand tools for the job (basic hand tools required)
