Yield Clerk

  Position Summary

  
  

  The Yield Clerk is responsible for accurately collecting, entering, and reviewing daily production and yield information. This position works closely with Production, Accounting, and Management to ensure accurate reporting of product weights, yields, and production results.

  
  

  Key Responsibilities

  
  
  
  
  • Record and enter daily production and yield information.
  
  
  • Track product weights, pounds produced, and production totals.
  
  
  • Calculate and monitor yields and identify unusual variances.
  
  
  • Verify production paperwork for accuracy and completeness.
  
  
  • Maintain accurate production and yield records.
  
  
  • Prepare daily and weekly yield reports.
  
  
  • Report discrepancies or missing information to supervisors and management.
  
  
  • Maintain organized records and spreadsheets.
  
  
  • Work closely with production personnel to ensure accurate information is reported.
  
  
  • Follow all company safety, food safety, and confidentiality requirements.
  
  
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  
  
  

  Qualifications

  
  
  
  
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  
  
  • Basic computer and data-entry skills.
  
  
  • Microsoft Excel experience preferred.
  
  
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  
  
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  
  
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  
  
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced poultry processing environment.
  
  
  • Must be dependable and maintain good attendance.
  
  
  • Must be available to work 5:30 AM – 2:30 PM
