Yorkshire of Edina, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for an Assistant Director of Health Services (ADHS) to join our growing team.


Yorkshire of Edina Senior Living is located in Edina, off a bus route, between Southdale Mall and the YMCA. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 96-unit, apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. Position: Assistant Director Health Services (ADHS), RN


Hourly: $33.65-$48.07 hourly, depending on experience


Service Area: 7141 York Avenue South, Edina, MN 55435


Schedule: 1.0 FTE, Full - Time / Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (MOD rotation)

Position Duties & Responsibilities:


In this position, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents and is responsible for daily clinical operations.


Duties include:



  • Assist with overseeing the nursing staff for the provision of quality and appropriate resident care that meets or exceeds company and regulatory standards.

  • Schedule and/or perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care.

  • Maintain administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability for the proper charting and documentation of care, medications, and treatments.

  • Assist with overseeing the provision of orientation and training and retain qualified staff to carry out nursing and assisted living programs and services.

  • Assist with developing and implementing the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident population.

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and Director of Health Services to build relationships with internal and external prospects, customers, families, and care providers.

  • Evaluate current and potential residents to determine and maintain facility’s ability to provide the appropriate level of care.


 


Qualifications:



  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse.

  • A minimum of two years’ management or supervisory experience in long-term or acute care is preferred.

  • Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred.

  • Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’s families, and employees.

  • Must possess advanced computer skills.
