Description

The Youth Advocate Supervisor oversees a team of Youth Advocates who provide direct support, mentorship, and advocacy for young people facing social, emotional, educational, or behavioral challenges. This role ensures high-quality service delivery, staff development, and compliance with program standards.

What You Will Be Doing to Make a Difference...

• Supervise, coach, and support a team of Youth Advocates through regular check-ins, performance evaluations, and professional development.

• Oversee case management practices, ensuring accurate documentation, timely follow-ups, and adherence to organizational policies.

• Provide crisis support and guidance to staff when complex youth situations arise.

• Maintain a manageable caseload of youth clients, modeling best practices in engagement and advocacy.

• Uphold trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and youth-centered approaches in all aspects of the program.

 

Beal Street Supervisor Schedule, 4 day work week, every other weekend off, 2 week rotational schedule.

Week 1

  • Sunday: Off
  • Monday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Thursday: Off
  • Friday: Off
  • Saturday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Week 2

  • Sunday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Monday: Off
  • Tuesday: Off
  • Wednesday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Thursday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Friday: 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM
  • Saturday: Off

Requirements

Qualifications/Credentials

  • The desire to work with youth
  • Valid MA driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Experience working with youth (12-18) in a residential/group care setting

  • Education or degree in Psychology, Social Work, Child Development, or Teaching
