The Glenview Public Library is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Youth Services Collection Assistant Manager to join our team. This brand-new position offers an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of our youth collections and spaces.
In this role, you will:
· Lead merchandising and display strategy for the Youth Services collection.
· Apply bookstore-style marketing techniques to promote materials.
· Analyze collection data and circulation statistics to inform purchasing decisions and boost material usage.
· Help launch a newly designed Play Space and reimagined Youth Services Department.
We’re looking for someone who is energized by the challenge of connecting kids and families with books through compelling, patron-centered experiences. This is your chance to make a visible impact and bring fresh ideas to a beloved community library.

The pay range for this position is $59,338.50 to $60,500 annually depending on qualifications.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
· Master of Library and Information Science degree from an ALA accredited school.
· Minimum two years professional library experience.
· One to two years supervisory experience preferred.
