Youth Soccer Referee

General Statement of Position:

This position is responsible for officiating scheduled soccer coordinated by the Athletic Program Supervisor  

Representative Essential Job Functions: 

• Arrive early to assist in field set up 
• Display enthusiasm for sports 
• Enforce the Channahon Park District Rules during assigned games 
• Ability to assist in instructing participants 
• Ability to see play with sufficient clarity to make accurate decisions 
• Ability to communicate with coaches and participants  
• Must maintain First Aid and CPR Certifications 

 Qualifications:

• 16 years of age
• Have a valid Illinois driver’s license
• Past referee experience is desired
• Experience playing soccer  
• Responsible and reliable
• Ability to work multiple games in a row
