Youth Worship Leader

Summary of Position:

The Student (Anthem) Worship Leader is responsible for maintaining, growing, and overseeing the worship experience for the Anthem Youth Ministry (Junior High and High School) at MISSION. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Lead worship during Junior High and High School services


• Provide leadership to the worship team
  
  
  
  • Instruct band members on what parts to learn for rehearsal
  
  
  • Provide guidance and coaching to create a healthy worship experience
  
  
  • Guide the band through pre-service run through
  
  
  • Grow and develop the student worship team as a talent pipeline to join the main worship team
  
  
  
  


• Contribute and collaborate with the Production team on the creative experience for all Student services and events 
  
  
  
  • Participate in creative planning meetings for upcoming message series and special events
  
  
  • Participate in weekly team meetings
  
  
  • Work with ministry pastor on song choice and direction of worship culture
  
  
  
  


• Prepare worship experiences for all service
  
  
  
  • Build tracks
  
  
  • Schedule Planning Center Online (PCO) 
  
  
  • Communicate with worship team in timely manner
  
  
  
  


• Develop and execute development strategy for youth worship team
  
  
  
  • Holding auditions
  
  
  • Recruit musicians/vocalists
  
  
  • Train musicians and vocalists
  
  
  • Coach and prepare students for steps towards joining worship team
  
  
  
  


• Lead camp and other event worship experiences

Work Schedule: 

• Full-time 


• Weekday evening and weekend availability
