CDL Class A- Line haul driver to Durango, Colorado

Join the team at Howard Logistics, a leading supply chain, warehouse, transportation, fulfillment logistic, and management company based in Aurora, Colorado. We are hiring a Class A CDL Driver to Line haul product to a national retailer in Durango, Colorado. * MUST HAVE 2 YEARS CDL CLASS A DRIVING EXPERIENCE WITH MOUNTAIN EXPERIENCE  Our Truck Driver must possess and maintain a Class A - Commercial Driver’s License and be able to work autonomously. Have a clear understanding of all state and Federal DOT Motor Carrier Safety regulations and policies. Be able to deliver and pickup general freight from the pickup yard or to/from individual shipping locations.

 
· Pick-up and delivery of trailers to various shippers and consignees
. Drive safely through all weather conditions. Wind, Rain, Snow & Ice. Chaining is a requirement of this position.
· Unload trailer when needed. 99% line haul.
· Knowledge of DOT, warehouse, and shipping documentation; Freight bills, BOL's, Over-Short-Damage reports, Manifest, Driver's log
· Maintain clean driver's record
· Follow safety policies in warehouse, docks, driving, loading and unloading.
· Complete deliveries in a timely manner
· Communication with dispatch office
· Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
· Pre/Post equipment inspections

 
Route Information:
Week one: Depart Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday
Week two: Depart Monday, Wednesday 
Day 1: Depart 2:00pm drive from Aurora, CO to Durango, CO. Take 10 hours off.
Day 2: Swap trailer with local Farmington driver in Durango. Pick up backhaul return to Aurora. Compensation:
Pay $650.00 per trip + potential $500 month safety attendance bonus. (No unexcused absences. No DOT/ Safety violations. No incidents or accidents). Average $84,000 per year with safety bonuses.
