Responsible for the creation of new designs, developments and techniques using combinations of materials and technologies to generate unique, innovative products for the Company. Quantifies and documents color requirements associated with products, programs and specified projects. Establishes standard operating procedures, sets up protocols and color matching standards for print processes associated with sublimated products and textiles. Review and assess new technologies, including print, sublimation, laser and lamination technologies, for future development and new products.
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Graphic Design, Print Media or equivalent from four-year college or university; and a minimum of 3+ years of related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Technical experience preferred in one or more of the following areas: textiles, embroidery, printing, coating, adhesives, film or packaging. Experience with print processes associated with sublimated products and textiles, in apparel industry, a plus!
