Electrical Engineering Technician

The Electrical Engineering Technician is a hands on role with electronic assemblies: executing test plans, reworking and documenting design changes, constructing R&D verification test fixtures, configuring and running oscilloscopes, DVM's, function generators and data loggers. In this role you will have the opportunity to work with talented engineers in a global environment, building complex products across a variety of printing technologies targeted to meet our customers’ needs and the strategic objectives of Markem-Imaje.

Job Responsibilities: 

• Assemble electrical test benches and execute test plans
• Rework SMT electronic assemblies.
• Design harnesses within the CAD tool following best practices.
• PCB symbol and footprint creation.
• Component selection and alternate source research.
• Configure and run oscilloscopes, DVM’s, function generator and data loggers
• Be able to design and create software scripts to support the testing of hardware using platforms such as Raspberry PI and Arduino.
• Work with EEs to fully realize PCB designs through the entire release process.
• Assure compliance of specific electronic equipment’s maintenance and calibration documentation requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and suggest improvements in design quality.

Job Requirements: 
• Associate or Bachelor of Science Degree.
• Proficient in MS Office skills.
• Electronic CAD experience. (Altium Design experience a plus.)
• Read and understand electrical schematics and symbols.
• Excellent soldering skills.
• Inventive problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn.
• Ability to share knowledge and work in ga strong team orientated environment.
• Must be organized, results orientated with the ability to mulit-task.
• Ability to work with minimal direction.

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Salary Range : $26.00 - $35.00
