Golf Shop Retail Director

Are you passionate about RETAIL? Do you enjoy the rush of a busy day managing a store, making unique purchasing decisions for merchandise, maximizing margin and profit, managing a team of dedicated professionals, and working as a team with your fellow directors? We need you to lead our Retail Store! Ideal candidates will come from a HIGH VOLUME, VERY BUSY independent retail store or gift shop.

Golf Shop Retail Director Qualifications:

• 2+ years as a Retail GM or Director for a HIGH VOLUME retail outlet
• Experience making purchasing decisions, tracking sales margins, and managing inventory for a retail outlet to maximize revenue
• Experience managing at least 30 team members
• A servant leader and "team player" attitude- no job is below you!
• Golf experience is not necessary but is valued and appreciated. NO GOLF PROS

Golf Shop Retail Director Responsibilities:

• Manage the Retail Proshop in every way! Own it!
• Manage all retail team members with confidence, compassion, and consistency
• Select items to purchase for the shop and determine prices for maximum margin and profitability
• Strictly manage inventory and track sales to identify trends and opportunities, minimize shrink
• Work in concert with the course leadership team in every way- help where help is needed as a team player!
• Other duties as assigned
