Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring  full-time Housing Assistants to join our team at Grand Canyon National Park in Grand Canyon, Arizona. As a Housing Assistant, you will join our Housekeeping team and work to ensure the property is kept organized, sanitized, and up to company standards.

• Clean housing, restrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, and other communal areas.
• Inspect the facilities and grounds; ensure all areas are clean and sanitized. 
• Timely response to housing requests with ability to take appropriate action. 
• Coordinate and distribute the linen and room supplies.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required to support operation of employee shuttle service.
• All other duties assigned.

• Valid driver's license, and safe operation of a 10 passenger van with ability pass a non CDL DOT screening required. 
• Exposure to outdoors and varying climate changes, must be comfortable driving in extreme weather conditions. 
• Previous janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to problem solve and operate in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks simultaneously. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Requires ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Constant standing, walking lifting, bending, climbing stairs, grasping and repetitive motions.
• Requires unrestricted vision and hearing to perform day and night driving duties. 
• Must be able to sit and safely operate vehicle for extended periods without becoming distracted.
• Exposure to outdoors and variable temperatures, including extreme hot and cold, depending on the season.
• Exposure to chemicals to clean and sanitize housing areas, common rooms and equipment.
